I really hate being in that fruitless space between “I need to dig in and focus” and “housekeeping is going to knock at any moment between now and bedtime and I’ll have to go twiddle my thumbs in the lobby.”

I apparently pronounce “water” in the colonial Eastern NC boondocks way with an extra R (before the t). I guess everyone thinks they’re regular until their children inform them otherwise. 😑
