Great paper by Matt Church on the use of WGS in classification and treatment of poorly differentiated salivary gland cancers. Molecular testing is becoming really useful in classification and can provide therapeutic targets. WGS worked when FFPE ngs was negative /failed.

So it turns out that the best way to tell an oral non hpv related adenosquamous carcinoma from a mucoepidermoid carcinoma is to do p53 IHC (abnormal in adenosquamous)
