Welcoming Max Ptasiewicz as our first PhD student at #Mizzou! Max received his undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado, Boulder and will be working on our AFOSR funded project in space manufacturing.

Our study explores how pharmaceutical agents such as naltrexone (NTX) and 6β-naltrexol cross the placental barrier and affect fetal neural cells. We have shown that exposure to NTX/6β-naltrexol alters gene expression in neural cells, reducing cell viability. www.linkedin.com/posts/iet-jo...
