I will never understand how 90% of the content posted anywhere on the internet only exists to bait people into engaging with it, and everyone is just okay with this. Really makes it hard to find anything worthwhile

sometimes, i come up with a new melody, and it feels oddly familiar. so i go digging through all my old song files, and i discover that it's almost exactly something that i had written in another song. it's happened to me like three times in the past couple months

anyone else's brain just instantly freeze the moment someone speaks to you? i swear i can have a full conversation with myself, but if another human says anything to me that isn't like, a question with a concrete answer, there's not even a monkey clapping cymbals up there, it's just nothing

i really wish i had more outside input on my music, because i can definitely tell that i am incapable of properly critiquing myself. but being too socially awkward to share/advertise my stuff in any way makes that really difficult to achieve
