These #Astros are having a NIGHT. Poor Sears is taking the drubbing. 10 hits, 9 runs, in 3.1 innings.

Morning thoughts: You can ‘t spell “Felony” without “Elon”

“President Donald Trump warned there could be "some pain" after signing executive orders that imposed stark tariffs…” Certainly did not mention this to his followers before the election. He probably didn’t know it. That’s why they voted for IGNORANCE!

I met a friendly man in hotel elevator, & when he learned that I was a retired college instructor, his first reaction was, “O, are you one of those Woke people?” When I replied enthusiastically, “Absolutely! Woke means not asleep, aware, I’m very proud of that label,” he dismissed the convo quickly.

What I will miss about Kyle Tucker in Astros batting order: his beautiful Swing. So fluid and easy. Reminded me of Joe DiMaggio.

I am proud of Texans, and some media & players, for standing up for Al-Shaair against personal & unwarranted attacks for the unfortunate results of play Sunday. It’s a league problem,& I watched on TV; thought from the first criticism was overreaction. www.houstonchronicle.com/sports/texan...
Character assassination of Texans' Azeez Al-Shaair goes too far
One ill-advised hit shouldn't define a player who has served the Houston community off the field and is held in high esteem by his franchise.

I am a supporter of equal justice under the law. But given that Donald Trump will escape justice for much worse actions, I just can’t very worked up over a pardon for Hunter Biden. We’ve got much bigger pearls to clutch.

The best argument the Republicans can come up with for any wild assertions they make is “You know it and I know it.” No evidence, no facts, no proof, just “YKI&IKI.”

Every small town gas station and cafe in America has already solved this issue. Just wait you turn, go inside the restroom, and lock the door behind you. Unisex is ubiquitous.
Rep. Mace introduces measure to ban trans women from Capitol’s female bathrooms
The South Carolina Republican’s resolution comes two weeks after the historic election of Democrat Sarah McBride, a trans woman, to Congress.

Am I the last person to realize that the store clerk in the John Travolta (as Santa) commercial is Donna Pescow, who played Annette in the Saturday Night Fever film opposite him? My favorite holiday commercial.

We now know that, while we assumed Trump had spent the last four years carefully plotting his revenge on all who had turned on him, he had not given any thought to whom he would bring with him into a new Trump administration, and is now just drawing names at random out of a carnival barker’s hat.

I have a question: is it “blu•skai” or “blu•ski”? (As in what’s up or what’s downhill?)
