LA law enforcement should 1) ask ICE/HSI for their ID; 2) tell ICE personnel to remove their masks; 3) ask to see permits for any weapons being carried; 4) ask to see a warrant signed by a judge for each specific arrest they make; 5) ask to see the proof of ICE/HSI agents own citizenship.

Bukele could 💯 have Abrego Garcia on the flight with him, if he wanted great press coverage and praise for his benevolance - every news outlet would cover his arrival in Washington, and then visit to the White House. He could even invite Abrego Garcia's wife to meet the plane.

If Ukraine is considering using access to 50% of their rare earth resources as a means to acquire weaponry and armed forces to protect them from Russia, maybe instead of making that deal with the US they make that deal with EU countries?

Instead of airing "Morning Joe", how about #msnbc airing three or four hours live coverage of the Democrats unofficial hearings? That would be a balance to the non fact-checked WH briefings and Trump EO coverage.

@velshi.bsky.social I feel it necessary to disagree with your statement that amounted to "don't mess with our air traffic control system, it's working fine". In fact, some parts of the system are over 50 years old. I'm not arguing for Musk to slap in something overnight, but updates are overdue.

I think that big water faucet that FOTUS thinks California needs to turn on in order to put out fires in LA is the complicated process of water diversion from the San Joaquin delta near Sacramento. Here's just one site with info, if you're interested. www.ppic.org/publication/...
Policy Brief: Tracking Where Water Goes in a Changing Sacramento–San Joaquin Delta
The Sacramento–San Joaquin Delta supplies water to roughly 30 million Californians, over 6 million acres of farmland, and countless ecosystems. But the watershed’s climate is changing: recent decades ...

If the hostage/ceasefire deal collapses because the Israel Parliment blocks the deal, does FOTUS accept the blame? Because, ya know, the deal was only going to happen because he was about to take office, right?

Merchan should have imposed a jail sentence on TFG last July (or September). Now he shifts blame for no meaningful sentence to "the citizenry that recently decided...". No, he could/should have given a fitting sentence when it would have impacted what the citizenry had to consider when voting.

I'm fine with DOJ dropping the case against Nauta and De Oliveira immediately, so both volumes of the Smith report can be released. When they are accomplices in the next Trump crime, prosecute them for that, it's just a matter of time.

Did everyone know that 81-yr old Kay Granger, the CHAIRMAN OF THE HOUSE APPROPRIATION COMMITTEE decided not to run for re-election to the next Congress! What an outstanding example to other aging members of Congress! Hope this gets the publicity it deserves! /s

I just finished watching the Netflix series "Turning Point: The Bomb and the Cold War". 9 hours covering history from the Russian Revolution up until the beginning of Putin invading Ukraine. Worth the time for all generations to remember or learn some history and politics of the last 100 years.

Why is @msnbc covering the self-promotion event Elon and Vivek are having live at the Capitol? We loyaL MSNBC don't want to see that garbage. Changing the channel until the good shows resume this evening.

OK, who thinks that as payback to Trump for arranging for a no-win scenario for Biden to leave Afghanistan, Biden should trigger an escalation in eastern Europe so that NATO must respond, and the US must respond to support of NATO (not only Ukraine), for Poland, Lithuania, Estonia, Latvia?

Between 1951 and 1971, five Constitutional Amendments were ratified. In the 50 years since, there has been one - the 27th, to delay the effect of raising Congressional salaries, which took 202 years to ratify, in 1992. The 26th (voting age lowered to 18) only took 100 days.

I'm interested in seeing how many MAGA Senators and Reps will leave their seats to become Cabinet members or serve in other posts. I was against a Harris Administration cannabalizing a Dem majority (if any), but I'm for creating opportunities to fill vacancies if it weakens Republican majorities.
