The Stonewall Inn was added to the National Register of Historic Palces in 1999, designated a historic landmark in 2000 and on June 24, 2016 became the first US National Monument dedicated to LGBTQ rights and history.

In February the monument website changed LGBTQ to LGB.

Obergefell v. Hodges:

On June 26, 2015, the U.S. Supreme Court held in a 5–4 decision that the Fourteenth Amendment requires all states to grant same-sex marriages and recognize same-sex marriages granted in other states.

Let’s commit to the fight ahead to keep this court ruling.

June 18- the day that Sally Ride (1951-2012)— American physicist, astronaut, educator, & writer became the first American woman & the first known LGBTQ astronaut in space in 1983. Ride kept her 27 year relationship with Tam O’Shaughnessy a secret until her death. We honor her courage!

Hegseth can remove a name from ship, but he can NEVER erase Harvey Milk. Someday Hegseth will disappear, but Milk’s activism and life story will still be told and celebrated.
