I'm thinking of starting up a wordpress site to kind of collect all my thoughts and projects, etc. Pretty sure nobody would ever read it, though I could always repost it here.
I'm a bit concerned about security. It's gotten a bad rep over the years. Anyone have any thoughts on that?

There's nothing quite like finding a take you don't agree with on Reddit and seeing lots of ppl supporting that take. You realize you can quietly remove hundreds of karma in the form of downvotes to individual posts.

Spent the last week or so setting up the amazing Field Station 42 (github.com/shane-mason/...) to create my own retro television network! Everything runs on a Pi 5. It even has 80s and 90s commercials.

Had occasion to watch an episode of Mister Roger's Neighborhood this morning. Such a great palate cleanser for modern life and a reminder that we once strove to be kind, patient and friendly to one another. I grieve the loss of those days, and I hope they come again.
