UNHCR released an updated position on returns to Syria which calls on States to:
🚨 Not forcibly return anyone to Syria
🚨 Ensure people fleeing Syria have access to asylum

UNHCR is deeply saddened by the tragic loss of life in the Aegean Sea.
This last week, at least 12 people, all women & children, have perished in two separate incidents off Samos island.

UNHCR is deeply saddened by the tragic loss of life in the Aegean Sea.
This last week, at least 12 people, all women & children, have perished in two separate incidents off Samos island.
