I’m the only one who can cook in this house so I had to make my own sick food (caught flu from family 😒) - Filipino Arroz Caldo (Chicken Congee).
Traditionally it’s made with whole pieces of boned-in chicken but I hate that. I want to be able my congee with just spoon 1/

It’s done! I was complaining about all the work earlier but it ended up worth it when he said “Thank you for the arancinis. You remembered. 🥹” (He mentioned he likes them a while back but it’s been a while since he ate some).

Ugh! These are so tedious to make 😭 You have to make the rice, then the meat filling then let both cool. Slice mozarella into tiny cubes. Shape the rice balls and filling in. Let them set for hours. Then I still have to bread and deep fry them later and make marinara sauce. Pain. 😩
I'm going to attempt making Sicilian Arancinis this weekend to surprise the father-in-law and hopefully it doesn't end up a disaster. 🙏

Okay, we didn’t get ghosted this time. Mafico BV sent the RMA form shortly after my whinging. 😂👏🏼
Rode customer support itself was really helpful and responded quickly but due to my location, the RMA, etc. is done by their distributor - Mafico BV based in Netherlands who hasn’t replied yet. This company also ghosted us when we tried asking for a replacement EU power adapter (I had a UK one) 💀
My Rodecaster Duo died just after 11-months of use. Good thing there’s two-year warranty but still… 💀 Let’s see how good Rode’s customer support is. 😭

My in-laws have appliances in their home that is older than me and my husband. I wish I know what that’s like. Nowadays we’re lucky if something lasts 5-years+ *sighs*
