How did Amazon think people would react? That they wouldn't immediately think it's not just for pets? That they already know law enforcement can subpoena video? That "opting in" doesn't preclude humans? That the next privacy update would just sneak by users? What in the hell were they thinking?!

Why are people are attracted to Trump's fascist hate mongering idiocy? He's destroying US democracy, alienated allies, imposed ridiculous tariffs, killed US citizens, disappeared people, attacked Venezuela, threatened Greenland, and now he's starving Cuba. Why would you want that? Why would anyone?

This vote may end up being more symbolic than actionable, but what it definitely is is leverage for Canada. Trump has been creating fake leverage to use against Canada for months now because CUSMA (aka USMCA) is up for review. This vote will weaken that ridiculously trumped up leverage. Stay tuned.

Keep in mind nothing happens in a vacuum. Events, actions, and decisions don't occur in isolation they're influenced by circumstances, context, history, and other external factors. Critical thinking considers both known as well as possible unknown factors because . . . nothing happens in a vacuum.

Aside from the total lack of coordination between the US military and FAA regarding lasers I wonder how Mexico reacted when El Paso airspace was suddenly closed. Was this a test to see their reaction? Or was the US sending Mexico a message? Some things are meant to be subtle and some things are not.
Pentagon let CBP use anti-drone laser before FAA closed El Paso airspace, AP sources say
The agency says it will ground all flights to and from the airport for "special security reasons."

This is what the US has always done. They're either nation building or nation crushing. Trump/Rubio love to crush with no plan for what happens afterwards. They do it without thought to how it affects people. They do it for money and power. The only thing it creates for Americans is animosity abroad

Is Trump willing to pay Canada for half the Gordie Howe Bridge the US never designated federal funds for? Trump can't even pay ICE let alone cough up 3.2B for half a bridge that's built and ready for ribbon cutting. Pick some other issue Donnie. This one makes you look like an uninformed dolt.

TPUSA halftime started with Hendrix's Star-Spangled banner (at the time considered disrespectful). Followed by violent, punch first, we're the best, jilted drinking, altar call music that tried hard to find nostalgia where there was none. This effort was pure MAGA for MAGA. Watch and be educated.

Trump is now going off about a bridge between Detroit and Windsor? Canada paid for it, US and Canadian workers are building it, and Trump endorsed it in 2017. Nothing's changed except Trumps steep cognitive decline as evidenced by his late night sundowning rants. Go back to your Bad Bunny nonsense.

$5 Trump didn't even watch the entire the halftime show. If he had he would have seen flags from all the countries that make up the American continent. All of them. Not as something that needs conquering, but something that needs to be celebrated. Something that needs to be honored and respected.
