I am not where I thought I would be this Christmas - or with the person I had planned to be with - but despite everything I am still breathing, I am going to be okay and I have come a very long way, baby 🩷

Due to the cowardice of one man, the last 3 months have left me utterly broken.
Today, because of an amazing woman it feels as if things are changing and the sun is coming out again.

It’s been an emotional weekend, but out of the mess that has been this year - and the last few months especially - a new friendship has been born and for that I will be forever grateful ❤️

A gorgeous day today in York, somewhere very special I didn’t think I’d be emotionally strong enough to go back to but I did, and I have laughed a lot, cried a little and had a wonderful time. Line drawn, it’s time for me to move on 😊

Tonight I went to a gig on my own for the first time. This woman’s music has always meant so much to me and tonight was magical, so thank you Kate and the boys for a very special evening - I am feeling very festive now ❤️
