We present a new monolithic multi-section laser diode concept for two-photon excitation microscopy (2ph-FLIM). This work is carry out in the new European project HILIGHT. We realized preliminary characterizations on laser diodes emitting at 900nm, providing the building blocks for designing this new laser.
