We are very excited to welcome submissions for online 20 minute papers at our tercentenary conference, The Highlands and the British State, 1725-2025, on 14th June 2025!

We welcome papers on any topic related to the Highlands, Highlanders, and the Britain since 1725!

Call for Papers!

In 1725, General George Wade went North to inspect the Highlands for the British state. Three hundred years later, this conference aims to reflect on that relationship since, in military, economic and social spheres!
