A huge beech tree at the end of the big long pond has fallen down blocking the path. You need to walk round on the grass if you're going that way today.

The new overflow pool near the entrance to the park is becoming populated with self seeded bulrushes. There are dozens of Poplar seedlings on the banks.

A crab apple tree near the old Henburys wall. This is one of the trees that was donated by the National Trust for their blossom trail .

An artichoke gall on one of the oak saplings near the road entrance to the park. It's caused by the Andricus wasp which lays its eggs in a leaf bud.
