Minor tweak to your #Daggerheart level up sheet. The two separate boxes didn't seem clear that you need to spend 2 to access that level up benefit. So I made them 2 connected boxes. #GMTips

Bored of innkeepers throwing out side quests all the time, what's an underutilized profession for an NPC in your DnD campaign? #dnd #ttrpg

Let me hear your thoughts, I hope to start brewing some constructive threads and maybe we could learn a thing or two from each other!

3 - Make NPCs ask the players reflective questions. If they ask a question that engages perspective, it can charm or disturb your players. “Haven’t you dealt with xyz before? Let me hear it.” Players get a chance to talk IC, and the NPC could discuss their experience (and sneak foreshadowing).

2 – Make the NPCs general persona contrast with a minor behaviour. The serious leader of the town often sneezes every other sentence, or constantly drops what they handle. The slimey thieves of the town have an uncanny eye for décor (they leave behind complimentary notes on the interior)

1 – I like to give the players a rumor about the NPC before they even meet them. One of the other NPCs, could be a nameless bozo, could share that the town thought the potion brewer disappeared. Theory is he mixed 2 potions together and was left mute and see through, but he hasn’t admitted it.

If your players forget your NPCs more frequently than I do birthdays, then let me share with you some of the things I like to do that seem to do the job. #dnd #ttrpg #daggerheart
