Is it just me or is anyone else getting nervous about flying here in the US?

Today has been a long freaking year.

Sigh... I feel the need to purge my life again. When things get anxious around me, I start getting rid of stuff. I didn't count today's item but I think it was around 300 items for the final tally. Let's see what tomorrow brings

@mcuban.bsky.social What do you say we revive Myspace from a music platform to social network to replace FB? I mean wouldn't that be great poetic justice? All the Millennials would already know how to use it. It would accommodate all the social network voids that FB fills.

When I see something bad or scary happening out there right now, I've made a commitment to myself to do something good in the world in the sphere of influence that I have. Damn, I'm busy today doing good.

When you work in non-profit weekends often feel busier than the work week

I feel like we are all on space mountain. We know the drop and the twists and turns are going to happen, but damned if we know which one it's going to be or when.

Switching to BlueSky is a lesson in how many times my thumb defaults to hitting FB out of habit.

A time that I notice Oscar's absence the most is when I go to the fridge to get a slice of cheese. Before I could even get the slice out and the bag closed he was always standing right behind me waiting. It's so weird to turn around and not see him.
