This sounds like a bad idea on par with "Invade Russia in the winter".
If you’re just learning of this, a guy from Ontario built a “houseboat” out of 2x6s, solar panels, & zip ties. He took it to a notoriously sleazy boat party & then just kind of messed around until attempting to enter Lake Huron in November (DO NOT DO THIS) & getting stranded by ice in Port Austin
