librarians have long had concerns about replacing print with digital. You cannot own digital textbooks and journals, you only rent access, and the contents can be changed without your awareness. The US gov is now erasing the history of minorities from its sites. Textbooks will follow.

Arlington National Cemetery has removed information about prominent Black, Hispanic, and female service members, as well as topics such as the Civil War, from its website.

King Charles sent Trump a personal invitation to Balmoral this week. He's literally our head of state and isn't supporting 🇨🇦 sovereignty. Not that I'm under the impression our monarch serves any purpose, but all he had to do was nothing, which most royals excel at.

Inspired by Google's cowardice, I bought a paper agenda for the first time in a decade yesterday. We trusted big tech with our personal information too easily because they promised convenience; now we know they have no integrity and we have no privacy.
