I've been trying so hard to run at 10k in under 50 minutes and today was the day! 47:35! I think my best time ever was around 43 mins, but that was in my 20s when everything was easier 😅

Was meant to be going to North Carolina from Baltimore, but my train was cancelled so I headed to DC instead. Loved it! Honestly, it coulda been a European capital: ✅ history, ✅ good metro system, ✅ loads of queer people, ✅ bars and restaurants

Had to press a little button to get someone to open a case so I could spend $10.50 on deodorant that costs me £3 in the UK 😵

Left Philadelphia and arrived at Baltimore. This is my shortest train journey at just over an hour 😬

I haven’t posted in a while, but I’m solo travelling atm so seems like a good time to start again. I’m spending six weeks travelling across the US by train, stopping off along the way. Here’s a rough sketch of my route 👇
