I have no idea who else is nominated for Best Lead Actor in a Drama Series but Sam’s performance in The Newsreader deserves every award in the world. I hope they get this one right.
The 2026 AACTA Awards are just around the corner! Sam Reid is expected make an appearance at the ceremony on February 6 as he has scored two nominations this year: Best Lead Actor in a Drama Series for his role in #TheNewsreader, as well as Favourite Australian Actor at the Audience Choice Awards.
