Writers, has this happened to you? Got a LitMag rejection. It seemed like the general form rejection so I looked it up on Rejection Wiki. It’s the norm but actually worse. The last bit saying “best luck placing elsewhere” is omitted. Dude! Gut punch. Anyone else ever get one like this?

As a writer, painter, and former record-store manager, I want to underline every word @bencollins.bsky.social said here. We are fucking human beings who do amazing things. We should absolutely glory in that and not become cogs in somebody's efficiency machine or let ourselves be stripped for parts.
