out of the pack pictured? I take Dauthi Voidwalker. The floor is a 3/2 evasive attacker, which ain't terrible; plus it has the potential to hose whoever takes that Exhume.
If Exhume makes it back around, DV synergizes with it to make sure opponent doesn't get value off it.

So like yeah, if I'm playing bracket 4 esper fast filter, it might be worth splashing RG to run him, or it might not; but if he's a GC, we don't have to worry about him pushing men-in-chairs tribal or oops-all-lands weird decks out of the format anymore, bc those decks now have a home in bracket 1.

So like yeah, if I'm playing bracket 4 esper fast filter, it might be worth splashing RG to run him, or it might not; but if he's a GC, we don't have to worry about him pushing men-in-chairs tribal or oops-all-lands weird decks out of the format anymore, bc those decks now have a home in bracket 1.
These things are purpose-built to do the same thing that the golos ban was trying to do: they make room for deck choices that aren't competitively optimal.

thinking about this again.
The main reason why golos got the axe was bc he was bad for deck diversity, and pushed casual weird decks out of the format by being better than most other commanders for those decks in most cases. The thing is, though: we have the bracket system now. We have GCs.
