This one is going to be extra special because it’s my daughter’s first DMB concert - I even made her a sign to hold and take pictures in front of the big tree outside our house like we do for the first day of school 🤣🤣🤣

For the past 6+ months, I have been sifting through Cambridge newspapers, reading about East Cambridge (our focus neighborhood for this year). It's been fascinating to see how the neighborhood has grown and evolved over the past two centuries, and has reinforced for me just how important (cont'd)

Glad to be able to contribute to this piece on Danehy Park, a jewel in Cambridge's open-space landscape!

Excited to start my new read, especially after hearing Zara Anishanslin speak at @dublinseminar.bsky.social this weekend! She was gracious enough to sign her book for my fangirl self 😉 #nerdalert

It's restoring a bit of my faith in humanity that the public is pushing back on this ridiculousness. NPS staff are incredible folks who spend a tremendous amount of time and energy planning how to best present America's diverse history to as wide an audience as possible.

Asked to flag 'negative' National Park content, visitors gave their own 2 cents instead
Signs installed earlier in National Parks earlier in June asked for feedback on signs "that are negative about past or living Americans." Comments viewed by NPR didn't provide the requested feedback.

WTF does this mean? Can researchers still make reading room appointments?

Wouldn't it be great if the proceeds from these specialty plates went to local history orgs that are sharing diverse and inclusive stories about our collective history? A girl can dream...

Happy Juneteenth! Join us this Sunday to celebrate and honor those who endured enslavement and seized freedom in Cambridge. I'll be repping History Cambridge alongside a number of other local orgs to share how Black Cantabrigians were and are crucial to the rich history of the city ❤️💛💚🤎🖤

Getting ready to march in today's Boston Pride Parade with the Episcopal Diocese of MA! So proud of my church for standing up for equality, belonging, and human dignity. As former Presiding Bishop Michael Curry always says, "If it's not about love, it's not about God." 🌈

Happy Marriage Equality Day! On this day in 2004, the first same-sex marriage in the country was performed in @cambridgemass.bsky.social. Proud to work in a city that has been on the frontlines of equality in so many ways ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🩷🤍🩵🤎🖤🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

Today! I'm excited to be leading a tour of Revolutionary East Cambridge, where the British troops landed ("two if by sea") to begin their march to the Battle of Lexington and Concord. Join us and find out why East Cambridge is the bomb (don't tell the other Cambridge neighborhoods I said that 😉)!
