Changed the time of day to make the area a bit clearer! I do think I want night-time to be actually very dark but probably not so good for sharing clips! 😛

A lone cathedral rises from the stone.
In it's shadow lies a vast pool of purple water, faintly glowing, as if lit from some ethereal force beneath the depths. The air here is always cold, thick with the smell of incense that was burned centuries ago and never fully faded.

I managed to luck myself into the videogame industry in a role that is actually largely "playing" games but I'm feeling burned out from stuff happening outside - life, health, family deaths etc
Makes me feel ungrateful and feeds in to a sick negative loop that I'm still unsure how to get out of 😔

finding it almost impossible to create a little cotswold-esque village, even in greybox form. Fitting roads and pathways in with any kind of verticality is really difficult because most of my level design experience has been level based like in Quake - anyone got any tips?

Really disappointed with Skate.
I know it was a pipe dream for it to go back to its roots but still bummed out about it.
No comps or s.k.a.t.e, the characters are horrendous, barely any actual boards or gear, the 'stunt' ragdoll stuff is a turn off, I liked Skate 1 for its more grounded approach
