Can someone explain to me what this obsession is with us suddenly needing to know where every tax dollar is spent? Isn’t this why we elect people? So they can do it? Also, plot twist: the majority of our tax dollars goes to the military.

There is the USDS, which may stand for the United States DOGE Service, but American journalism uses acronyms in its reporting so I presume we would never see that phrase.
Any major media outlet referring to the USDS as DOGE is inexplicably running ads for a Musk meme.
