Today was a much needed, very nice day.

I had to get screened for cancer this week and the only people who checked in on me are practically strangers. One of them I literally met a month ago.

At what point do you accept that someone doesn't give a shit about you the way you give a shit about them?

Anyway, now I've got all the hurt out of my system, here are shiny Christmas pix.

I don't expect people to always be there when I reach out to them, but when you spend 90% of the time blowing me off or ignoring me it tells me exactly how much my friendship is worth to you.

Right b4 the quake started, I was shouting up the chimney at a woodpecker who was pecking the metal cap on the chimney. So I'm telling it to fuck off, it's telling me to fuck off- then EARTHQUAKE. Cat is standing on the back of the sofa, fur raised, looking at me like MOTHER HAS ANGERED THE GODS.

Had a dream that flowers could smoke, and I ran a nicotine rehab garden for flowers, where I was making ads like those ASPCA ads with the sad animals. Then I logic-ed myself awake wondering how the flowers were getting cigarettes. Was I giving them cigarettes? Couldn't I make them go cold turkey?

I gotta stop putting so much effort in when I know nobody else cares.
