Just got in from a ❄️sno-ccer❄️ game. CPL finals being played in 10s of cm of snow. We lasted 90 minutes plus stoppage time. Watching the end of the game from the warmth of our living room. Go Atletico go!!

Great theme this week for #showmeyourknits: knits that bring JOY 🎉 or knits to CARE 💕 for others! My most joyful knit was fruits and veggies for my kiddos. For knits to show care, this table full of hats was knit by my knitting group for our annual gift for female refugees newly living in Canada. 🧶

As many others have said, I'm not much of a scarf knitter as I find myself doing more shawls and cowls. I'm sharing these two scarves for this week's #showmeyourknits prompt since they are among the very few I have done. Yarn was dyed by me with food colouring. #knitsky 🧶

I'm going to be sentimental this week for the baby knits theme of #showmeyourknits. This was by far my most used handknit 🧶 for kid #2 since he wore his sleep sack every night for at least a year. Next weekend he leaves for university(!!) Where does the time go?

My son has shown me yet again that I have not made the right choices in life. He paid $17 (!!!) for this stick for his aquarium today. To think I could have been killing it in the stick resale market all these years.

Nothing says summer knits 😎🧶 more than a 🏖️ beach bag! I love how the knot tie in this pattern is offset so it doesn't dig into your shoulder. #showmeyourknits #knitsky
