The Straczynski and Coipel run was what really solidified me as a comic book guy in high school so rereading that stuff had a warm, coming back home feeling to them.

I think I liked Call of Cthulhu more but this was still really engrossing. So many breathtaking double page spreads.

Making her lasso basically Ghost Riders penance stare is such a good idea for Wonder Woman raised in hell. Also, really beautiful art and panel layouts from Sherman.

Thanks to Metallica, I've known about Cthulhu for most of my life but I have never read the story in any form until now and I'm glad this is how I experienced it. Really engrossing story with perfect art.

A really solid Sonja story. I wish Conner did the interiors as well as the covers but Moritat does some really fun stuff.

Finally got around to reading the first two issues of Exceptional X-Men and it definitely lives up to the title! I love this stuff, it's so good. I'd read like five omibuses worth of @carmencarnero.bsky.social doing slice of life scenes.

This is why I never fully understood people's issue with Twitter. I spent years curating my timeline into being stuff I thought was cool and fun to read and look at, what the fuck were you guys doing
The "bluesky is an echo chamber" think pieces that keep popping up really tickle me because they show how certain people genuinely believe social media should be for debating and arguing and not talking about the things that make you happy and sharing art with the world.

Might be one of the best things I've read by Garth Ennis. Some surprisingly nuanced social commentary from him and some of the most gruesome art I've seen.
