Historic high: near 800 eviction hearings scheduled in 1 day (Gulfton area). Precinct boundaries need to be redrawn, or more courts added.

So many eviction cases were scheduled for one day that tenants and landlords spilled out of the courthouse lobby into the subfreezing parking lot.
