The first $1,900,000 raised for Helen Keller Intl’s neglected tropical disease work was matched, dollar for dollar, by the Reaching the Last Mile Fund, the Røros Foundation, the International Trachoma Initiative, and an anonymous donor. 💜
Match Funds Increased. The Reaching the Last Mile Fund will match donations 1:1 up to $1.5 million. There is a thermometer showing how much can be matched. In the top left it says, "2025 Holiday Impact Prize." and in the top right, "Helen Keller Intl."

The nutrition progress in Nepal is at risk after funding cuts. 🇳🇵

Jan 2025, Nepal’s nutrition was improving. In the mid-1990s, they had the highest rate of stunting globally, with more than 60% of children under five affected due to poor nutrition. By 2022, that number had dropped to 25%. 👀

Last year, more than 1.6M people were screened for trachoma, and more than 2,400 required and received surgery. 🩺
