Had a joyous (and surprisingly moving) time at this. Rare to be offered this kind of opportunity to look back and celebrate. So, so lucky to have had @reproutopia.bsky.social there to reflect with me, so sharp and so insightful and so interesting and so effortlessly charismatic!

I've written to my MP about this, and you should too.
The UK government will evacuate nine of the 40+ students in Gaza with scholarship at UK universities. My PhD student Shaimaa isn't included. We must now make sure they help the other students - email your MP today. www.theguardian.com/education/20...

Building on work by Helen Hester and Nick Srnicek, Phil Jones envisages a world of shared tools, collective kitchens, ambitious infrastructure, and aesthetic freedom 📈

@helenhester.bsky.social and I have written a piece for Tribune on the wider context of the government's benefit cuts.

Your Worth is Not Your Productivity
Labour’s swingeing cuts to benefits continue a long tradition of equating human worth with participation in paid employment — an unnecessary, immoral, counterproductive way to run a society.
