Congratulations to the winners of the LGiU councillor awards which took place, yesterday evening. Selected by a cross-party judging panel, all 5 winners are Labour councillors.🌹

I've seen lots of these given out over my thirty-three years in the City Council, but it is such a privilege to receive them.

Proud to have nominated my Labour colleague and friend Nicola Beech for the position of Alderwoman today.
