Back from a 15 day/250km-ish hike and straight to the neurosurgeon because "it's very problematic I still can't raise up on my toes" ... currently googling sports people with hernias are allowed to do and it's just walking ☺ (clearly), cycling 😏 (my only mode of transport) and ... swimming 🤮 (NOPE)

Just visited Till's Bookshop in Edinburgh and had a lovely chat with the member of staff who is definitely going to start reading & watching Good Omens and didn't tell me any spoilers at all 🙃😉😇😋

Went to the Loch Ness Centre in Drumnadrochit as a birthday treat expecting monsters but got immediately distracted by David Tennant doing the voice-overs throughout the entire thing. 10/10 experience Nessie or not 😈🤩🥳

I think my very favourite thing is watching Michael Sheen being totally in the moment when looking at and listening to other (excellent) actors as they act opposite him... that, and him acting. Even with his back to me. Even his calves convey emotion 🤯🥺😇 #MichaelSheen #Nye & what an Ensemble, BRAVO!

Complaining into the void: stuck with an extremely painful pinched nerve somewhere in my quads just 10 days before starting a 15 day hike in the Highlands. Probably never been this nervous about something I've been looking forward to in my life 😭😱😳 Also the pain is worst lying down so zero sleep 😪
