Just started "The Staircase in the Woods" by @chuckwendig.bsky.social and I have to ask: why not just say Trump? Why use "Creel" but then use real life examples: red hats, nazi rallies, etc. Lawsuits? Shitstain is known for lawsuits. So that would make sense.

Makes me yearn for static sites and iPods and flip phones and DVDs and to hell with anything connected.
