all three versions of trigun have their merits and i highly recommend any fan of one version check out the other two. 98 stands up incredibly well on its own, and Stampede is a blast but ultimately benefits most from being a manga reader. And the manga is just genuinely a masterpiece.

I am a huge fan of all trigun. I think if you come into it viewing it as an alternate timeline and not expecting it to be exactly like 98’ then its a good show. The 98 anime is so different from the manga too, i feel like new installments being diff is tradition
