Halloween is in the air...
Fun decor at home and in the neighborhood.
My 8 yr old grandson standing on a chair holding up his new skeleton blanket in front of him making him look like the giant skeleton! A neighborhood skeleton dressed in red flannel and a touque as we call them in Canada sitting around his campfire. A great use of a mannequin made to look like a cross between an autumn goddess and the scarlet witch. Found in a neighborhood yard. In the background is that a female skeleton in a slip and neon green wig pole dancing on a light post? It's all in the placement of the fake Halloween limbs. This rubber hand and arm is coming out of the back of the couch cushions at my daughter's house.

Had to say goodbye to my forest, flats, trails and river and head back to the city for the winter. Good news, I will be returning for 6 months on May 1st. I'll be counting down the days but in the meantime, making the best of city living until then. #countryheart #trailerlife #simpleliving

Nestled in the trees and the blanket of fallen leaves is a hidden home made of tree branches. A safe place to sleep for critters and other magical forest creatures.

This was my costume this year for a vending event I did called Fright Fest. Triple Moon Goddess.
I will dress up again to Trick or Treat with one of my grandkids.

October 1st A pinch and a punch for the first of the month and a rabbit, rabbit, rabbit too.
The countdown is on for me. Only 19 days of camping season left and I am off to stay with my youngest back in the city temporarily. I have a knee replacement surgery, in mid November and need time to heal.

My life has had another plot twist.
My partner decided he doesn't want to pursue a relationship anymore. He called me to tell me while I was on the road returning home from a 10 day vending event.
I have to move my tent to a new location to finish the season and secure new housing for the winter.

It's been awhile. I am in full swing vending season, living out of a camper, creating in a tent, and traveling to events. I have my biggest event starting in 2 days. The road trip starts early Sunday morning. Camping rough, vending, bands, dancing, drumming, workshops, rits, friends, can't wait!
