@laddkeith.com, director of UA’s Heat Resilience Initiative within the Arizona Institute for Resilience, has been appointed to Governor Katie Hobbs’s Workplace Heat Safety Task Force. “We are taking action to protect Arizonans from heat risk in the workplace,” said Hobbs. AZ's official Heat Awareness week has five themes, and today is future activities! SW-IFL soon begins its Intensive Observation Period along the Oracle Road Corridor in Tucson. 5 UA students received the HeatMappers fellowship, where they will be working with researchers from NAU, ASU, and UA.
