🦋 Public school teacher. Investing in the future by investing in our students. 🦋
Question for the #LGBTQ+ communities: I am a public middle school teacher. What do you wish a teacher would have done when you were in school that would’ve made you feel seen, safe, and loved? Anyone can put a flag up, but I want to know concrete ways I can support and protect these kids.

Hey, #teachers, the article “Anti-Jewish Legislature in Pre-Nazi Germany” is a fantastic student-accessible resource. Also amazing for anyone who wants to know just how Germany went from a Democracy to a Dictatorship in a matter of years.

#ELATeachers, highly recommend reading “First They Came” and “Courage in Denmark” with students. Both are available on CommonLit. Both discuss being a bystander vs. standing up against negative social change.
