Cody York needs to be removed from his position as chairman of the library board. He has made his biases well known and stacked the board with loyalists who blindly support his agenda. His actions are directly opposing our right to choose reading materials for our families. #IStandWithLuanne

Please help keep Rutherford County in the eyes of the media and the people. Tennessee has already been deemed as a "training ground" for actions like this and worse. This is government overreach and must be stopped. Call your representatives. Support your librarians. Read banned books!
If you're in Rutherford County, Tennessee, your library board is about the completely demolish the principles of public librarianship & abolish the right to read. Get there.

This isn't new. It's continued escalation of a years' long fight here, aided by the Sec of State.

I called my mom twice while reading this book. The first was just incoherent sobs & she said, “I wondered when you would get to that part.” The second was a couple hours later when I finished, still sobbing, but in a different way. This book will truly touch your soul in so many ways.
