I've really been enjoying making stained glass lately as a hobby and I'm even more glad I bought most of what I needed last year. I can't wait to be able to make bugs... 🐛 (The middle one is my own design even 😊)

It's been nice to experiment with a newish media combo, markers and coloured pencil. I'm getting back to my roots of drawing bugs, and it's really helping me a lot.

My friend literally just learned cross stitch and yarn making and sent me a care package of a bunch of her first pieces. 😭

I really wish you could just order replacement lenses from Zenni. I have perfectly good frames that I messed up one lens. 😭
(Note: I would prefer going to the local optometrist but the woman who helped me in the front was very rude about my appearance and preferences last time I went).

I'd love to watch Severance but I simply don't have the capacity for serious, somber media that questions the core concept of identity as my entertainment right now.
I want a whisper of hopeful resolution. I need to feel like at the end of this all we'll be okay, even if we aren't there yet.

The consolidation of retail into three megaliths has never been more obvious or apparent to me than trying to find a replacement rack for my new (used) toaster oven.

I can tell I'm burnt out because I'm seriously debating taking my friend's offer to build a tiny cabin in the middle of the woods to be a hermit, farm, and hang out by a wood stove doing nice little crafts.
It sounds so Zen... But then I remember I'm accident prone and super glue only does so much.

My community garden plot is WAY bigger than I anticipated... I have room for corn, at least 3 kinds of beans/peas, and still have room for squash and melons.
I'm gonna grow a summer squash, a hard squash, but I'm debating:
Sugar pumpkins, french cantelope, or watermelons??
