Year 1 had a real treat when Emily’s Mini Farm came to visit. The children enjoyed looking and learning about alpacas, goats, sheep, tortoises, chickens, hamsters and rabbits. They asked questions about and had their photos taken with their favourite animals.

KS1 wore red, white and blue for VE Day 80 to commemorate the end of World War II in Europe. We had a special assembly to help us understand what happened and why it is so important never to forget. At lunch time the children enjoyed a picnic style lunch in the playground.
