You ever watch a movie trailer & a particular scene catches your eye—makes you want to see it—and then when you finally do, that scene isn't even in it?
I just had that happen with a romance novel. Why advertise with an excerpt that isn't actually in the book?? I WILL REMEMBER.

Starting 2025 strong. Besides the travesties ravaging the country—so far this month we lost heat for 9 days (in Iowa during a cold snap), traveled to Kentucky to bury my step-grandma, & then my precious bb ended up needing emergency surgery for a racquetball-sized lump the day after. We’re v tired.

How easily influenced am when it comes to reading romance?
A well-placed sexy or swoony excerpt will get me every time — and by well-placed I do just mean in front of my eyeballs in any way possible.

My 2025 goal is to do more of the things I love. That means reading romance, crocheting, spending time w/ friends & traveling. But it also means being a part of the romance community, which I’ve sincerely missed. I’m hopeful this platform—what are we calling this one? The butterfly app? —will help.
