I feel like I've spent most of my life doing things for the benefit of others. It was something that has always made me feel purpose. I never necessarily felt entitled to anything in return for these efforts, but as the years have passed, I have found myself feeling sadder and more misunderstood.

Going to cast the MKU Playoffs for the first time in ages today. I finally don't have any allegiances to the teams, so it felt like the right time to try it.
A lot of history is on the line today, so I am excited to talk about it all.

Going to cast the MKU Playoffs for the first time in ages today. I finally don't have any allegiances to the teams, so it felt like the right time to try it.
A lot of history is on the line today, so I am excited to talk about it all.

Tried the Nintendo Music app today, and it was pretty cool - no ads, could play with your phone off, extended versions, that was good. That said, rolling out new games each week like DLC fixing an unfinished game is just not the move. There's not nearly enough games in the library to make it worth.

Kinda feel like our community needs to actually buy in to make people want to post on Bluesky. The relative lack of MK8 engagement is noticeable, and even demotivating. I don't plan to go back to Twitter regardless, but there has got to be ways to incentivize more people to come over / post here

The MKU tiebreaker stuff seems to be a mess. This isn't even a shot at the new format, but there needs to be more clarity (TB on tables, extended rules for ties between 3+ teams if 2nd/3rd tiebreaker are used at the same time)
That said, I'm down to bring back 12 team conferences too 😶🌫️

I feel like I really miss streaming, but at the same time I feel like I am not capable of it anymore, which is sad
Truth is, I don't really have fun playing solo queue anymore, but anything else I do results in significantly less viewership, or perhaps it's less entertaining. The confidence is gone

Unfortunately I went only 2/5 last year, but this past year did change some of my perspectives/outlooks on life. I don't know what I want my goals to be this year, but I can say one in particular: to stop being so nice to those who don't deserve it, and to stop letting people take advantage of me.

It's so tempting to want to call people out on their shit sometimes. It has nothing to do with clout or "owning" anyone. Seeing people play the victim when there are clear and obvious reasons as to why there are clear consequences to their actions is simply just nauseating.
