In case you need this reminder, which I did too, as I do most days: fanfiction IS self-indulgent. It’s okay to write something self-indulgent. It doesn’t have to be. It’s also art. But it’s okay too if the words you’re writing are first and foremost the ones you need or want to hear right now.

i have a terrible cough again so writing updates are once again delayed. this whole thing has been just miserable. i think i will be going back to the doctor after work tomorrow because i can’t do this anymore

one year ago, my ex threatened my life and i had to run away in the middle of the night in pjs and barefoot. i had to even drive through my yard to escape because he blocked the driveway.

finishing my first longer haikyuu fic was really fun! i find myself writing in a completely different way when writing kghn instead of bkdk. i focus a lot more on nuances and description where as bkdk for me is more internal emotions. it’s been so fun to explore a new voice!!
