My Arc Raiders goal, and this will end up precluding me from achievements, is to never knockout another raider.

Got the NAS up and running but there is so much to configure!

Need to figure out how to install and configure Scrutiny. Also need to figure out how to install and configure Plex (and then import my Windows server settings).

Have to learn all the new permissions and settings too.

*confuzzled*

Tomorrow I get the Minisforum N5 Pro NAS. Hopefully it arrives okay. Took a risk with an unknown Amazon seller (but at least it's FBA) and it was vetted by a Minisforum representative on Reddit.

Perfect timing with the release of TrueNAS 25.10! Now I can finally use my 4x 26TB WD Red Pro HDDs!

Why are there so many good games out this month? Borderlands 4, Battlefield 6, Arc Raiders... and all of them require grinding!

Technically built this PC back in April 2025 but forgot to share pics and the system went down for a few months until recently.

Gekijouban Kimetsu no Yaiba: Mugen-jou Hen part 1 is so, so good. Watch in theaters if you can!

Pacing slows down intentionally at the end but remember it is only part 1. It's only going to ramp up from here!

I can't tell if the slightly off feeling in mouse aim control is due to input latency on GeForce Now, sensitivity settings, or just me getting older.

I'd be more sure of myself if I had a working PC. (Thanks again ASRock! Almost 3 months now! /s)

Things I somehow messed up just by existing today:

- TMJ pain from eating too much popcorn flaring up again because I sneezed all day from allergies.

- My left shoulder decided to not want to give me full range of motion without pain for no reason other than me stretching while yawning.

After dumping in various personality/strength tests results that are often used by HR and a list of some of my favourite story series' into AI to do some analysis and it gave a somewhat unexpected result.

Granted, it was an amusing exercise but no idea to its accuracy. Tried to give it 'good' data.

Why do companies keep trying to convince me to buy OLED displays? Even in the most "brutal" burn-in tests, they show visible burn-in in 4500 hours (6.16 months) and that's acceptable? I have kept my monitors for well over 10 years and only recently upgraded to 27" 1440p IPS displays.

The amount of people stating that political violence is not a solution is arguably ignoring history and how the vast majority of countries were literally founded through violence.

In fact, not using political violence to induce change is so rare that history considers them exceptions.

ASRock motherboard has been dead due to random BIOS issue since 2025-06-25. It took a month just to get an RMA number with external help so they only received my motherboard on 2025-07-30 (actually 2025-07-29 based on tracking). It is now 2025-09-10 and I still don't have a motherboard back. *sigh*

Arknights is the waifu version of the Metal Gear (Solid) series. Or at least, that's what the anime vibes give me - having never played the Arknights games.

Just finished the entire main series of Ascendance of a Bookworm. 33 books in less than a month. Now the post-story hollowness will start to set in. Oof.

Serious question: Does anyone remember the last time a single game release crashed Steam, let alone several other platforms simultaneously? Congrats to Team Cherry!

Every time I think of my 'family', I think of that one Robin Williams quote.

Rapidly approaching the 2-month mark where my ASRock motherboard failed and no new warranty replacement yet.

Anyone else miss when game devs would release cryptic teasers, hints, demos leading up to some massive reveal, interlaced with potential lore and world building? Where it's borderline an ARG and there are ridiculous amount of secrets buried to be discovered even years later?
