3 #nēnē nests have already been found in the park frontcountry, the part the road goes thru. One's near the intersection of Hosmer Rd & the park baseyard — adults often cross the road there, please use extra caution. 🛣️🪺
Mahalo from HPPA to the amazing #HALE NP Wildlife Crew!

#Nēnē can be extra feisty right now — hissing & chasing is their way of guarding nests & goslings. Always keep a respectful distance & never feed nēnē. 🙅♀️🦆
🩺 See injured wildlife?
Report it right away to park staff with the date, location (GPS too) & photos. #Haleakalā
🚗 Drive slow, go with the flow!
Watch for nēnē on park roads, in parking lots, and around park buildings.
