I dont completely agree with it just being military fascism. AOT has a generally negative pov of every governing body shown.

Oh ya totally, especially with the german naming conventions.
I disagree with the latter part though, i do think the ending wasnt great but theres a lot of good in the overall story.

I also like that AOT's plot and worldbuilding develops in sync with Eren's point of view. Season 1 is simplistic because Eren's worldview is simplistic. The final season is messy and complicated because Eren's worldview is as well.

AOT imo did better with character writing for more characters and made every character feel important to the plot in some way (whereas in FMAB more characters felt unnecessary). I think FMAB's ending is better and has better pacing.

Literally I remember every single op but for the life of me if anyone asked me the name of any characters outside of asta and yami or what shenanigans they were up to i wouldnt be able to tell them
