Welders do critical work, including at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard where they help maintain vessels that keep our nation safe, secure, and free. It was great to visit Great Bay Community College's new welding lab that is helping students prepare for these important jobs.

The President should work with Democrats and Republicans to actually lower prescription drug costs for families, rather than helping Big Pharma line its pockets.

New report from Democrats: TrumpRx drugs could cost thousands more than generics
Democrats looked at the cost of the name-brand drugs on TrumpRx. Turns out, Americans could save thousands per year on many prescriptions by just purchasing generics.

In case you missed it, our bipartisan bill to help prevent waste, fraud, and abuse was signed into law.

This bill will help prevent payments from being sent to people who have passed away and save taxpayers money.

The head of ICE just admitted to me that Secretary Noem and Stephen Miller’s comments calling Renee Good and Alex Pretti domestic terrorists introduced bias into the investigations into their deaths.

This is unacceptable.

People in New Hampshire and across the country are making it clear, they DO NOT support this Administration’s deadly and divisive actions.

The Trump Administration's attempt to indict lawmakers who were simply articulating the law of the land was an attack on our democracy.

The American people know that, and it's why a grand jury rejected these outrageous charges designed to intimidate my colleagues.

I just returned from a bipartisan Congressional Delegation to Greenland to reinforce the importance of partnership with our NATO allies in order to keep our country safe, secure, and free. I appreciated speaking with Greenlanders from all over the country.

Super Bowl season is a busy time for scammers, who may try to steal your money through illegal sports betting, ticketing, and merchandise scams. I hope all Americans, even those rooting for the Seahawks, take steps to protect themselves from scams this weekend.

I’m very concerned by reports that the maker of a children’s AI chat toy publicly exposed its users’ personal information. As children’s toys become more sophisticated, companies need to do everything they can to protect the safety and privacy of our kids.

Exclusive: Sen. Maggie Hassan presses AI toy company on child data privacy
Senate scrutiny is growing after an AI toy company was accused of exposing children's chat data.

Free and fair elections are the foundation on which this country was built. Threatening that right in any way is an unacceptable escalation from President Trump.

As our country faces human trafficking, illegal drugs, and other threats, what is President Trump focused on? Using the FBI to pursue baseless claims and personal vendettas.

It’s wrong, dangerous for our democracy, and makes us less safe.

Scary situation in Nashua today. I’m grateful for the first responders who are risking their lives to keep Granite Staters safe, and I’m praying for the injured fire fighters and all those in the area. If you live in the area make sure to shut off burners and extinguish open flames.

Bob Murphy of Salem sells his hand-beaded bracelets and donates the proceeds to the Parkinson’s Foundation. His creative contribution to Parkinson’s research is why I am honored to name him January’s Granite Stater of the Month.

The American people want the government to remain open, and they are also demanding an end to the deliberate intimidation, trampling of civil rights, and outrageous lawlessness by ICE agents that have left two American citizens shot dead. My full statement:

Happy Birthday to my dear friend and colleague, Senator Shaheen.

It's an honor to work alongside you in service to NH. And while your time in the Senate is drawing to a close, I know you will remain a powerful voice for freedom, common sense, & progress for years to come.

Today marks the anniversary of the Challenger explosion, a tragedy that shook New Hampshire and our country.

We continue to honor the spirit and the legacy of Granite Stater Christa McAuliffe 40 years on, and her passion for teaching and learning lives on in our state.

On Holocaust Remembrance Day, we honor the 6 million Jewish people and the millions of others murdered during the Holocaust.

We must also recommit ourselves to standing up against antisemitism, hatred, and bigotry wherever we see it.

The President’s tariffs are causing chaos and uncertainty – and they’re raising costs for hardworking families. These tariffs were a choice by the President. They need to be repealed.

The fentanyl crisis has devastated families across New Hampshire, and stories like Anena's are far too common. I will never stop fighting to get our communities, first responders, and people battling addiction the support that they need.

I will vote against proceeding with this week’s bill to fund the Department of Homeland Security because ICE needs to significantly change the way it is conducting itself — and Congress should be doing everything it can to make sure that happens.

What ICE is doing in Minnesota and on many streets across the country is unacceptable, unconscionable, and it has to stop.

As the President's reckless tariffs continue to raise costs and hurt small businesses across NH, I visited Solomon's, a family-owned grocery in the North Country, to hear about the damage caused by Trump's decision to undermine our relationship with Canada.
