Happy holidays, from my family to yours.

Thanks to Chris Sununu, AARP, ConsumerReports, and the New Hampshire Department of Justice for joining me yesterday to warn people about the risk of holiday travel scams. If you are traveling to see loved ones this holiday season, please be careful as scams spike this time of year.

Under President Trump, families gathering to celebrate the holidays are paying higher prices.

Every woman deserves access to the health care that she needs.

I introduced a bipartisan bill to close a gap that has prevented women from accessing coverage for contraception and help ensure that there are no other gaps in this basic form of health care.

In his 46-year police career, Officer Kevin Semprini bolstered child safety programs and made our communities safer. His work demonstrates the Granite State spirit of going the extra mile for others and I am proud to name him December’s Granite Stater of the Month.

Our bipartisan defense bill is now law, helping keep our country safe, secure, and free. It includes key priorities I fought for:

- Protecting Portsmouth Naval Shipyard employees from disruptive workforce reductions
- Pay raise for troops
- Support for Ukraine against Putin

My heart is with the Jewish community as they continue to mourn those lost in the vicious attack in Australia amidst Hannukah celebrations.

I hope that this holiday brings light and joy in a dark time.

Happy Birthday to the National Guard!

Thank you to all of the service members past and present who have helped keep our country safe, secure, and free.

The Affordable Care Act has saved lives and helped millions afford care. Congress needs to build on this progress instead of letting health insurance premiums skyrocket.

Great to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act today. As the Administration continues to attack opportunities for students with disabilities, it is critical that we continue to stand up & fight for every student’s right to an excellent public education.

Exciting news! My bill, the Safe Sunscreen Standards Act, was recently passed into law and will make it easier for new sunscreen ingredients to be approved by the FDA and will help Americans get access to the newest products on the market.

I was honored to attend a naturalization ceremony in Concord this morning and welcome 71 new citizens.

President Trump promised he would lower costs. Instead, his tariffs have done nothing but drive prices even higher for American families.

My statement on today’s failed health care vote:
December 11, 2025 at 8:20 PM
In the wake of Trump’s tariffs and needless provocations, New Hampshire and other states along the U.S.-Canadian border are seeing far fewer Canadian visitors. My new report shows the toll this is taking on businesses in the Granite State.
December 10, 2025 at 3:25 PM
Good news: More federal funding is heading to New Hampshire’s rural communities from the Northern Border Regional Commission.

This funding will help expand health care facilities, hire more child care providers, and support other critical projects.

84 years ago, our country was changed forever when Pearl Harbor was attacked.

We will always remember that and the lives that were lost in service of keeping our country safe, secure, and free.

Direct Support Professionals help people who experience disabilities live independently, but providers struggle to recruit and retain them. I’m proud to re-introduce a bipartisan bill that improves data collection, better addresses shortages, and supports caregivers.

If you or a loved one have received treatment from or worked at a methadone clinic, I would appreciate hearing from you. By sharing your experiences, you can support our work to better connect Granite Staters to the addiction treatment that they need.

Every year I have the honor of nominating some of NH’s outstanding students to the military service academies.

In these moments of chaos & concern for America’s future, as I reviewed the applications this weekend, these young people gave me much-needed hope for our next generation & our democracy.

Tax cuts that help people who buy health insurance on healthcare.gov are expiring at the end of the year.

I met with doctors and health care leaders in Manchester today as I continue to push for an agreement to prevent the upcoming surge in premium costs for families.
