"if I wanted to become a manager, I'd do it already" is a pretty common take when talk with other engineers

for many, including me initially, agents kinda sucked the joy out of programming

i figured out how to rephrase it in my head so it doesn't feel so lame

Y.js is kinda neat because you get a basic time-travel-like version history for free even if you don't design for it

is there a nice alternative for @codesandbox.io embeds? The new CodeSandbox embed steals focus and scrolls to the iframe, and doesn't respect the options the old one had (like hiding parts of UI)

part 2 of day 24 was plain suffering, but I really enjoyed #AdventOfCode

hoping it's not the last one before we get turned into paperclips

my family during Christmas Eve, remembering the communism:

> we were so poor we didn't have toilet paper! we had to use a newspaper!
> People's Tribune?
> nah, Worker's Voice was softer

I remember an obscure bug, where #React components in lowercase object properties like `` caused issues with HMR/Refresh, so I ended up writing `B = a.b; ` instead

does anybody remember this or knows how to find it?
